Meet Coastal Threads: In 2015, a 24 year old college student began making handmade jewelry in her dorm room in between classes to sell at local festivals in order to pay for textbooks. What started as one table at a few festivals a year, grew to a retail location in 2016 in Historic Smithville, NJ. As a result of rapid growth, Coastal Threads relocated to a 1,000 sq. ft. store in the heart of Long Beach Island, our home town, in 2019. The shop features a plethora of handmade goods such as soy candles, wood burnings, hats, scarves, and of course, jewelry.

The Coastal Threads soy wax candles are all natural and give off the best fragrance throw. Each candle is hand poured in small batches using custom created scents. All of their candles are made with all natural soy wax, paraffin free, lead and petroleum free.

The ECO wick is constructed from natural flat cotton threads interwoven with paper threads. The consistent flame and slight curl of ECO wicks works well with natural waxes and ensures an even burn. ECO wicks are free from lead and zinc.
