Sometimes the most fun images come as a surprise, and can come at any moment, as told with Good Morning My Love.
On a quick simple morning as I explored after taking outdoor product shots, the marshy bottom at a nearby lake caught my eye. The low tide lake which had become a marsh like setting, was covered throughout with tall soft brush strokes of grass. This unsettling scene with the low tide and muck, had become a masterpiece painting in my eyes.
With he busy canvas which presented itself to me with the muck and not much for compositions, I knew something had to come out of this marsh type setting. I’ve always learned in photography, if you know something is there, there is, and you just have to find it. After a few moments wandering the dock and looking for this particular something, I caught two birds heading my way. As they trekked together along the wet muddy trail of the lakes bottom, they continued shuffling towards the dock. This was that something I just knew was here. After about 20 minutes of them walking my direction as they inspected the mud below from time to time, my mission began as I continuously pressed the shutter with much anticipation. After about 100 clicks, this image was created. With his wings open wide, this told the morning of these two birds on a lovely morning walk through the marsh. It was truly a morning I was not expecting, and could not have been happier with how it ended.
